Ontdek in doorlopende workshops verschillende Chinese kunsten. Knip je eigen ornament uit papier en doe een wens voor je familie. Schilder de twaalf sterrentekens van de Chinese dierenriem. Ontwerp een masker of doop je penseel in inkt en schrijf je eerste Chinese tekens in prachtige kalligrafie.
- Chinese papierknipkunst: Papierknipsels worden gebruikt als decoratie op ramen, muren en spiegels voor belangrijke festivals, zoals het Chinese Nieuwjaar. Kom het uitproberen en doe een wens voor jezelf of voor je familie!
- Chinese dierenriemtekens schilderen: Leer de 12 dieren uit de Chinese dierenriem, ontdek aan welk dier jouw geboortejaar is toegewezen en doe mee met onze spelletjes. Kun jij de 12 dierenriemtekens in de juiste volgorde zetten? Of wil je je eigen sterrenbeeld schilderen?
- Chinese kalligrafie: Chinese kalligrafie is één van de vier traditionele Chinese schone kunsten. Tijdens deze workshop leer je Chinese karakters schrijven met penseel en inkt. Als je Chinese karakters schrijft, lijkt het alsof je een beeld schetst. Met wat oefenen leer je de basistrekken van Chinese karakters.
- Peking Opera gezichtsmasker schilderen: Hier kom je meer te weten over Peking Opera en de betekenis van de verschillende kleuren op de gezichtsmaskers. Ga zelf aan de slag en maak een masker naar het traditionele voorbeeld of in je eigen stijl! Natuurlijk mag je je originele creaties meenemen naar huis.
- Shuttle schoppen: Het lijkt wel alsof je badminton speelt met je voeten! Tijdens deze workshop leer je hoe de traditionele Chinese sport ‘shuttle schoppen’ werkt. Kan jij de shuttle in de lucht houden? Doe je best, want er zijn prijzen te winnen.

Uncover the secrets behind various Chinese Arts during this workshop in 3 different workshops. Craft paper ornaments and make a wish for the good health of your family. Learn how to portray the twelve star signs from the Chinese zodiac. Or dip your brush in ink and write in beautiful calligraphy your first Chinese characters.
- Papercutting: During this activity, children will learn the basic skills of papercutting and create their own wishes for others or themselves, or they can create something they like.
- Chinese Zodiac Signs: During this activity, children will learn the Zodiac Signs and how to tell the sign according to the year. Later, there will be games for them to attend, that if they can tell the right order of the twelve signs, they will get a gift which is animal doll of this year.
- Chinese Calligraphy: During this activity, children will learn the basic strokes of Chinese Characters by practicing Calligraphy. They will also learn to recognize some characters which we call pictographic characters, and practice calligraphy with the teachers’ assistance.
- Peking Opera Facial Mask Painting: During this activity, children will learn the basic information about Peking opera and the meaning of different colors on the facial masks.
- Shuttlecock kicking: During this activity, children will learn how to do this sport and experience themselves, this activity is not only a way to know more about Chinese culture, but also a very interesting sport for the children to exercise. We will provide some prizes to encourage the children to participate.
